Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Domestic Def Industrial Base Facilities & Major Range/Test Facilities Base in DoD Direct Hire Authority. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer.

Major duties

• You will perform examination/evaluation and repair of aircraft integrated systems and major subsystems, subassemblies, and structural components.
• You will identify and record tasks and discrepancies on aircraft systems, components, accessories, which are suitable for continued service without replacement, repair or processing.
• You will collect and provide data for logistic analysis, budgets, formulation of material forecasts and workload planning.
• You will operate ground support equipment such as air compressors, generators, and gas turbine air starters in support of making various aircrafts ready for flight.
• You will de-preserve and pre-oil engines and other systems.
