About JOBnaru™
Where Korean-American talent meets U.S. jobs.
A naru (나루) is a ferry landing — the place where you cross the river. JOBnaru™ aims to be that crossing point between Korean-American and bilingual job seekers and the employers who need them.
What JOBnaru™ is
JOBnaru™ is a job board for the Korean-American community in the U.S. Korean companies are building semiconductor fabs, battery plants and car factories across Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan and Arizona, and they and their suppliers need bilingual engineers, technicians and office staff. Korean communities from Los Angeles to New York and New Jersey, Atlanta, Dallas, Seattle, Chicago and Virginia need staff for offices, banks, restaurants, markets and salons. JOBnaru™ puts those jobs in one place.
Where the jobs come from
- Employers post directly on JOBnaru™. A person reviews every new employer’s first job.
- We read the public job boards that companies publish for distribution — Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby boards, and the job data on company career sites — respecting robots.txt. Applicants apply on the company’s own page.
- Jobs that disappear from a company’s board are closed the same day. Every job shows its source and posting date.
What makes it different
- Visa filter: whether a job says it sponsors visas, welcomes OPT/CPT, or needs U.S. work authorization — only when the posting says so.
- Korean-language filter: jobs that require or prefer Korean.
- Pay transparency check: in states that require a pay range in job postings, we flag postings without one.
- Ask JOBnaru™: ask in Korean or English and get matching jobs and answers with links.
- Open about reach: every job page shows how many people and AI assistants read it.
What we don't do
- We never charge job seekers. Employers pay only to make a job stand out, and paid placements are always labeled.
- We are not an employment agency or a law firm. We do not guarantee a job, a visa or an outcome — confirm details with the employer and, for immigration questions, an immigration attorney or official U.S. government sources.
- We are not affiliated with any company listed on the site unless it says so.
