About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W0JAAA US ARMY COUNTERINTELLIGENCE COMMAND.
Major duties
- Leads expert analysis of complex and emerging threats and develops long-range estimates and projections.
- Advances innovative analytical methodologies to improve threat forecasting and intelligence-gap identification.
- Resolves complex, ambiguous analytical problems through innovative methods and sound professional judgment.
- Advises senior leaders on consequences, risks, resource implications, and recommended courses of action.
- Influences intelligence priorities, collection programs, and policy positions through compelling analysis and expert communication.
