Summary
You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) in the Information Technology Requirements Branch (Code 109.34), Information Technology Business Division (1093), Information Technology and Cyber Security Office (Code 109) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Major duties
- You will serve as the expert for compliance, policies and procedures for all IT procurements.
- You will ensure that all applicable new IT Procurement requests are submitted through the mandated procurement system and monitor the progress of requests to ensure approval prior to procurement.
- You will create and collect specification and justification requirements for IT procurements based on the acquisition method deemed appropriate.
- You will verify IT procurement deliveries and receiving and acceptable per the specification of the contract/delivery order both physically and as invoiced.
