Summary
About the Position: This position is located in Letterkenny Army Depot in the Director of Strategic Management Production Engineering.
Major duties
- Provide senior engineering support to the Engineering Division and leads teams of engineers, technicians, Tech writers, and configuration manager including grade GS-12 within the Division.
- Serve as Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) technical authority and SME in performing analysis on communications, electronics, chemical, industrial, and/or mechanical workload in the assigned division.
- Advisor to the division chief and/or branch chiefs, makes preliminary study and appraisal of requirements for new technology and to support current as well as future workload.
- Research and analyze new technology advancements involving Air/Missile Defense workload. Establishes and maintains contacts with other government agencies and original equipment manufactures.
