How to find jobs on JOBnaru™: filters, alerts and Ask JOBnaru™
JOBnaru™ is free for job seekers. Start at the job list, narrow it with the state, category, visa and Korean-language filters, save the jobs you like and turn your search into a daily email alert. If you are not sure what to search for, ask Ask JOBnaru™ in Korean or English.

JOBnaru™ is a job board for the Korean-American community in the United States. It brings together jobs that employers post directly and jobs from the public career sites of companies such as Samsung Semiconductor, SK hynix, LG, Hyundai, Kia, Coupang and Moloco. For job seekers everything is free: searching, saving, alerts and Ask JOBnaru™.

This guide shows how to get from "too many jobs" to a short list worth applying to.

1. Start at the job list

Open all jobs. Jobs are sorted with labeled paid placements first, then the newest. Each card shows the company, city and state, job type, pay when the employer gives it, and visa and Korean-language tags when we can read them.

You can also type a keyword — a job title ("process engineer"), a skill ("PLC"), a company or a city — into the search box.

2. Narrow it with filters

Filters can be combined. The ones people use most:

For jobs we collect from company career sites, the visa and Korean tags come from the text of the posting, and we set them only when the wording is clear. When in doubt we leave "not stated". Always read the full posting and confirm with the employer.

3. Read the job page carefully

On each job page you will find the full description, how to apply, and a link to the company page with all of that company's open jobs. A few things to look for:

  • Pay range. In states that require pay ranges in job postings (such as California, Colorado, Washington, New York, Illinois, New Jersey and Massachusetts), we show a note if the posting has no range. See our guide to pay transparency laws.
  • Visa wording. "Sponsorship available" for one role does not mean the company sponsors every role. Read our H-1B basics and OPT/STEM OPT guide.
  • Where you apply. The Apply button takes you to the employer's own site or email. JOBnaru™ never asks you for money, bank details or your Social Security number. If anyone does, read job scam warning signs.
  • Views. Each page shows how many people and AI assistants viewed it — counts only, no personal data.

4. Save jobs and set daily alerts

Sign in (free) and press Save on any job. Your saved jobs are in My jobs.

To get new matches by email, run a search with the filters you want — for example semiconductor jobs in Texas that mention sponsorship — and create an alert. JOBnaru™ sends at most one email a day, only when there are new jobs that match. You can delete an alert from the same page at any time.

5. Ask JOBnaru™

Not sure which filter to use? Ask JOBnaru™ answers in Korean or English. You can ask things like:

  • "Which Korean companies are hiring engineers in Georgia?"
  • "OPT 가능한 반도체 공고 있어요?"
  • "What does E-Verify mean for STEM OPT?"

Ask JOBnaru™ answers from our job list, company pages, glossary and guides, and links to the pages it used. It does not give legal advice and cannot promise that you will get a job or a visa.

6. Keep up with news

News & guides has practical guides like this one. Work, visa & business headlines collects official and news updates on work visas, labor rules and Korean companies in the U.S.

A few honest limits

  • Jobs collected from company career sites can close at any time. If a job disappears from the company's site, it disappears from JOBnaru™ soon after.
  • The visa filter reflects what the posting says, not a promise from the employer.
  • JOBnaru™ is an independent job board, not an employer, staffing agency or government agency.

Questions

Do I have to pay or sign up to search jobs on JOBnaru™?

No. Searching and applying are free, and you do not need an account to browse. You only sign in to save jobs or get daily email alerts.

What does "Visa: not stated" mean?

The job posting does not say whether the employer sponsors visas or hires OPT/CPT students. It does not mean sponsorship is impossible — ask the employer before you apply if it matters to you.

Does JOBnaru™ take my application?

No. The Apply button sends you to the employer's own application page or email. JOBnaru™ counts the click but does not see or store your application.

Why are some jobs at the top marked as paid?

Employers can pay for top placement (Premium Plus, Power Link or Photo listing). Paid placements are always labeled and never change how the filters work.
