In California, Colorado, Washington, New York, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington D.C., Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont and Massachusetts, many employers must include a good-faith pay range in job postings. Thresholds and details differ by state. JOBnaru™ flags postings in these states that show no range — a reminder, not a legal finding.
A real employer will not ask you to pay to get a job, deposit a check and send money back, buy equipment with your own money for reimbursement later, or give your Social Security number and bank details before a verified offer. JOBnaru™ never charges job seekers. If a job looks like a scam, stop, check the company yourself, and report it to us and to the FTC.
Employers post on JOBnaru™ for free for 30 days — no sign-up needed first. Every post gets an automatic check, and clean posts go live right away. Before the 30 days end, we email a one-tap button to keep it up 30 more days, free. To reach more people, you can buy labeled top placement — Premium Plus ($500/30 days), Power Link ($450) or Photo listing ($99), each per 30 days. Write a clear post with a pay range and no discriminatory wording.
