Banner ads for brands and services

Who can advertise

Employers hiring in the United States, and local businesses and services — for example attorneys, CPAs and tax preparers, banks, insurance agencies, staffing firms, restaurants and real estate offices.

Verified employers are ready at once. A business whose login email is on its own website’s domain is verified right away; with a personal email such as Gmail you can still advertise — you pay by card and every ad is checked automatically before it runs.

Three ways to advertise

Premium

Exclusive spot

One of the six most visible spots is yours alone for your months — no other ad, no rotation, no free cards. Your card is shown on every page view of that spot.

  • 1 · Home page — near the top
  • 3 · 6 · Every article — after the summary, and top of the sidebar
  • 10 · Visa & immigration news — top of the sidebar
  • 12 · News & guides list — top of the sidebar
  • 19 · Jobs list — above the jobs
Shared

Rotating spot

A spot you choose, shared by up to 3 advertisers — never more. Cards take turns every 8 seconds and the first card changes on every page view, so each advertiser gets a fair share.

  • 2 · Home page — below the news
  • 4 · 5 · 7 · Articles — middle, end, sidebar bottom
  • 8 · 9 · 11 · 13 · News pages — under the lead story, between days, sidebars
  • 20 · Jobs list — between job cards
  • 21 · Every job page — sidebar under Apply
Lowest price

Auto placement

No spot to pick: we place your card in spots that are open at that moment, on any page. The widest reach for a smaller budget.

  • Position not guaranteed — shown only where no other ad is booked.
  • At most 5 advertisers at a time, so each one is still seen.

Every ad area is marked “Ads”, and every paid card “Sponsored”. The numbers are the same in the booking screen. A spot shows nothing until it is booked.

What you get and how pricing works

Our rules

  1. Every paid placement is labeled “Sponsored” and looks different from news and articles. Paid links carry rel="sponsored".
  2. Banner ads never change job listings, company information, search results or “verified” labels. Paid job placements for employers are separate and always labeled.
  3. No ad networks, no tracking cookies and no personal targeting. We count clicks on our own server only.
  4. Copy must be factual. We do not accept promises of jobs, visas or green cards, misleading income claims, gambling, payday or predatory loans, or anything aimed at minors.
  5. Each paid placement has a written order (placement, dates, price). We may decline any request.

How to start

You chose this spot: #14 · Guides list — Sidebar bottom — sign in, add your business details and book it. It takes a few minutes.

  1. Sign in or create a free account — with email or Google.
  2. Add your business details — business name, website and category (one short form). Verified employers just pick their company.
  3. Pick spots and dates — click the numbered spots on the page diagram, choose a start date and months; the price and open spots are shown live.
  4. Write your ad and pay by card — headline and short line in Korean or English, an image if you like; pay on Stripe. Your ad starts on its start date by itself.

Advertising FAQ

Who can advertise?

Employers hiring in the U.S. and local businesses and services — for example attorneys, CPAs, banks, insurance agencies, staffing firms, restaurants and real estate offices. Sign in, fill in one short form (business name, website, category) and book online. If your login email is on your website’s domain you are verified at once; with Gmail or another personal email you can still advertise, and every ad is checked automatically before it runs. To promote a single job, use Premium Plus, Power Link or a Photo listing from My jobs instead.

How long does an ad run?

Choose a start date (today or later) and 1, 2, 3, 6 or 12 months. The ad runs from that date for whole months — for example October 11 + 1 month runs to November 10 — then ends automatically. Nothing renews without you.

What exactly does an exclusive spot guarantee?

During your dates, your card is the only thing in that spot on every page view — no other ad, no rotation and no free promotional cards. No one else can book that spot for overlapping dates. There are seven exclusive spots (numbers 1, 3, 6, 10, 12, 13 and 19 on the page layouts).

How does a rotating spot work?

Up to three advertisers share one spot — never more. On card spots the ads take turns every 8 seconds (paused while the visitor points at it), and the first card is picked fresh on every page view, so each advertiser gets a fair share. On three-card rows all of them show side by side.

What is auto placement?

You do not pick a spot. We place your card in spots that have no other ad at that moment, on any page. It is the lowest price, but the position is not guaranteed, and if every spot is sold it may rarely show. To keep it worth paying for, we accept at most five auto-placement advertisers at a time.

Where does a click on my ad go?

To your business’s own website, in a new tab — the website you gave in your advertiser details, or a page on it. Links to other websites are not accepted, so an ad cannot send people somewhere unexpected.

What does my card look like, and can I change the text?

Your card shows your ad image or logo and your business name. You add a headline (up to 40 characters) and a short line (up to 80), in Korean or English. You can change the text any time in My ads; it is checked automatically and usually shows right away. To change the spot or dates, message us before the start date.

Do you translate my ad?

No — we never machine-translate ads, because the wording is your responsibility. Write your main text in Korean or English. If you like, add the other language too in My ads (Korean: up to 20 and 40 characters); people who read JOBnaru™ in that language see it instead of the main text.

Does advertising change search results or job data?

Never. Job search results, filters, facts on job pages and “Verified employer” badges are not for sale. Every paid card is labeled “Sponsored”, and paid job placements are always labeled.

How do I pay, and what is the refund rule?

Pay by card through Stripe when you book in My ads; Stripe emails your receipt. Refunds: full refund if cancelled before the start date; no refund after the ad has started. To ask for a refund, use the request button in My ads or Payments — a person at JOBnaru™ reviews it and refunds through Stripe.

How do I see results?

My ads has a Results section: clicks on your ads by ad spot, page, country, language, device and day, with a monthly report and a CSV download of every click. We count only clicks by people, on our own server. We store no IP address and no name — no tracking cookies and no personal targeting.

How do I talk to JOBnaru™ about ads?

Use “Ask a question” on this page or in My ads. We reply there and by email, usually within one business day.
